Conference on paints and varnishes was held in Russian Yaroslavl
In Russian Yaroslavl, the annual conference "Paint and Varnish Materials-2016" was held.
The choice for such a representative forum of this city is not accidental, because it is here that the largest production of domestic varnishes and paints in the Upper Volga region, based on the local petrochemical plant, is concentrated.
The event opened with a plenary discussion traditional for meetings of this kind, during which its participants presented their vision of the problems of further development of the industry. Particular attention was paid to international challenges related to trade restrictions, many of which relate to paint and varnish production.
The organizer and sponsor of the events held as part of the conference was the Centerlak Association. Opening the conference, its general director Gennady Averyanov said that in the face of the difficulties that have arisen, only a single economic policy can save the industry from stagnation.
Speakers spoke about the urgent need for substantial public investment in the industry.
Representatives of a number of enterprises supplying equipment for the production of paints and varnishes also attended the conference.
